This basin occupies 135.5 km2 SE of Bastora wadi basin with annual rainfall mean 756.7mm. This rainfall occurs during 84 days per 8 rainy months per year. The 2 days extreme rainfall is 52% of its annual, which is corresponding to possible surface runoff. The water surplus were found to be 65% to 75% with 15% ground water recharge from annual rainfall. The dam height was designed to be of 880 masl from base ground that was 805 masl. The hydrological model shows that it is possible to reduce the height to 875 masl when reservoir volume routing is placed at 870 masl starting condition. Thus it is possible to use mean annual 45 million 1 cum safety.
